Long Branch Shows the Evolution of Professional Learning (Electronic Education Report)

The April 19 issue of Electronic Education Report prominently featured Edthena. A news article detailed the recent Organization Stats announcement.

Additionally, the publication profiled Long Branch Public Schools (NJ) for their use of Edthena.

Teacher and peer coach have monthly meetings, but they also have ongoing dialog on the Edthena platform based on an action research process, where participants identify their own problems, research and read about them, analyze, reflect and act.

Edthena feedback is very directed, supplying affirmations, suggestions, questions or notes generated by peers who have been trained in how to provide that  feedback, which [Principal Evelyn Cruz] said leaves teachers in a better place than when they watch a general professional development video and then wonder what to do next.
