IDEA Public Schools Makes Multi-Year Commitment to Video Coaching (District Administration)

IDEA Public Schools in the San Antonio, Austin, and Rio Grande Valley regions of Texas is renewing its commitment to high-quality, video-powered professional learning for principals through its ongoing partnership with Edthena. During the 2017-18 school year and beyond, IDEA will use the Edthena video coaching platform as part of its Principal in Residence (PIR) program. This multi-year professional learning experience helps aspiring leaders learn critical knowledge and skills from experienced principals before becoming a transformational leader at an IDEA school.

“Our organization is committed to fostering and supporting effective, visionary leaders who help drive student growth through teacher growth,” said Judy Touzin, senior director of design for the principal preparation programs at IDEA Public Schools. “Video coaching has – and will continue to be – instrumental in this ongoing work.”
